Description:

• Hurghada Museum is the first antiquities museum in al‑Bahr al‑Ahmar (Red Sea) Governorate. It is also the first museum of its kind, in that it is the fruitful result of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, al‑Bahr al‑Ahmar (Red Sea) Governorate, and the private sector. The construction of the museum was funded by the private sector, The museum contains 2000 artifacts that tell story of Egypt, from the Ancient Egyptian, Greco-Roman, Jewish, to the Christian, Islamic, and Modern eras. These objects underline the museum’s theme, which is to present the concept of beauty in Egypt.

We organise a tour every day — museum hours are from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 23:00.

Program:

• In the morning or afternoon, you go to the Museum of Antiquities in Hurghada.
• In the museum English speaking guide leads a tour for 1.5 hours.
• After the tour you can see the exhibits on your own and take pictures — there are 1791 exhibits and 4 mummies in the museum.

What is included in the price:

• Transfer picks up from the hotel in Hurghada and brings back after the tour.
  There is an English-speaking guide on the tour.
  The price includes entrance tickets to the museum and 1.5 hours guided tour.

What is not included in the price:

• Separately pay for transfers from the outlying areas of El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, and Makadi Bay — $5 per person, from 2 people or $25 per minibus both ways.

Adults pay $25 per person, children ages 5 to 10 inclusive $15.
