TOUR’S PROGRAM:

Pick up

• We will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh at 2 am and transfer you by A/C minibus to Taba Port to catch the ferry to Aqaba, Jordan.

From there you will drive by A/C coach to Petra where a guided tour begins.

Petra and the Great Treasury

• We will enter Petra on foot through the spectacularly beautiful narrow and winding gorge over 1kilomete in length, until the gorge opens out revealing the Great Treasury.

The Roman Theatre

• We will continue to walk to the Roman Theatre which was constructed in the early 1st century AD by the Nabataean civilization. It was later enlarged and improved by the Romans shortly after their annexation of the Kingdom in 106 AD. They accomplished this by ruthlessly gouging away a street of houses and tombs in order to extend the rear of the auditorium, which could at that time accommodate 3000 people.

Ancient Tombs of Petra

The next stop on your guided tour is to the Royal Tombs (the Rainbow Tomb is a must for photographers), as well as hundreds of monuments and obelisks, all carved from the unique rose red sandstone.

After you have seen the magnificent sights of Petra, you will be driven back to Aqaba for an hour of free time, perfect for shopping or if you prefer having a drink and relaxing. 

Return to Sharm

After seeing Aqaba, you will be transferred to Aqaba Port to catch the ferry back to Taba and then from Taba you will be transferred to your hotel by A/C minibus.
